Whole Energy Participates in Biomethane Feasiblity Study

Whole Energy is participating in a biomethane feasibility study with regional bio-gas producers to explore the potential economic pathways to increase the value of gas produced beyond its current use as a fuel for on-site generators. New potential uses include the upgrading of gas to an on-road fuel, the use of the gas as an energy source to enable nutrient recovery from the liquid phase of effluent from digesters, and the ability to generate carbon credits from the gas produced.  Whole Energy is approaching digesters, landfills, and waste-water treatment plants in the region to assess their potential.
