Whole Energy Enters Into Agreement with Puget Sound Energy

Whole Energy has been pursuing pathways to get biomethane into transportation applications for approximately 2 years. This agreement culminates an exhaustive search intended to discover what appears to be the most attractive opportunities to bring substantial quantities of advanced biofuel under the EPA’s Renewable Fuels Standard into commercial use. Whole Energy’s intention is to work with PSE to place the gas produced at the Cedar Hills Landfill in King County into regional pipelines and to convey this biomethane to regional and extra-regional natural gas fleets. Whole Energy will lead the effort to secure RFS2 registration and identify suitable end users.
