Whole Energy Develops New Technology for Gas Scrubbing

Whole Energy is developing a new technology for gas scrubbing using glycerin derived from biodiesel production. The details of this new technology have been submitted for patent and have the potential to revolutionize the gas scrubbing industry. The primary advantage of Whole Energy’s process is the use of a low-cost by-product to upgrade and significantly increase the value of natural gas from fossil or renewable sources. This approach also has substantial advantages in CO2 recovery and co-production of value added chemicals.

“We look forward to developing what may be a breakthrough for both the biodiesel and biomethane industry” says Atul Deshmane, President of Whole Energy.
