Atul has previously helped to launch two clean transportation and energy companies. Atul spent the last 15 years as a business planner, engineer, manager, and executive in the Alternative Fuels Industry and is thereby one of the most experienced and accomplished executives in our industry. Atul spent nearly eight years with Ford Motor Company and has worked in senior positions to grow several early stage companies which are industry leaders in their sectors.
Orion N. Polinsky
Orion has a PhD in Bioengineering and a MS in Environmental Chemistry. He has worked as a biofuel consultant since 2000. He is the author of “A Biodiesel Handbook”, and several books, papers and patents dealing with biofuel and biochemicals production. Orion is the Co-founder of Whole Energy and is the Director of Research and also serves as a Biofuel Specialist for Washington State University Extension program. He leads an outstanding technical team with over 30 years of collective experience with biofuels. His team is capable of supporting services ranging from custom green chemicals development, plant design to plant launch.
Ken has ten years accounting experience most recently as a company controller and has worked as a consultant helping companies implement accounting and management reporting systems. He works closely with our team to provide our customers and partners friendly, accurate and professional services. Ken has developed an outstanding reputation with our vendors and customers for professionalism and dedication.
Process Technology Advisor
Karl brings two decades of process engineering experience in the fuels industry. Karl helps Whole Energy apply engineering tools for safety and reliability. Karl is leading Mercurius Biofuels, http://www.mercuriusbiofuels.com which has discovered a way to turn cellulose into diesel (rather than ethanol).
CA Development Advisor
Martin has extensive experience in business management and analysis. He is leading Whole Energy’s efforts to establish and develop JV partnerships with communities and businesses to produce biofuel in California.
OR Development Advisor
Michael joined Whole Energy in December 2008. He has owned and managed companies in three countries (Australia, Japan, United States) on an equal number of continents (Asia, Australia, and North America) allowing him to gain diverse experience in areas ranging from construction, education, and training to foreign exchange trading, small goods manufacturing logistics and supply chain management. Michael leads Whole Energy’s efforts to establish and develop JV partnerships with communities and businesses to produce biofuel in Oregon.
Market Development Analyst
Brady has a BS in Agricultural Food Systems Economics from Washington State University and a Masters in Food Resource Economics from the University of British Columbia. He has worked in production agriculture since 2004. Brady has extensive experience in agricultural systems management with expertise spanning animal production, orchard management, fresh fruit and vegetable production, and small grains/oil seed economics. Brady serves as an in-house expert on agricultural production systems, markets, and policy as well as heading environmental attribute valuation and monetization for Whole Energy.
Whole Energy Fuels / Mount Vernon Terminal Railway
Hugh is a certified locomotive engineer and an engineer certified instructor for the railroads. Hugh is also the safety officer and the plant manager for our glycerin refinery located at the Mount Vernon Terminal Railway. Hugh also holds a commercial drivers license. Hugh is in the fourth generation overseeing the railroad.
Whole Energy has an Advisory Board and Board of Directors that collectively provide an exceptional knowledge base for our activities. This group includes seasoned professionals from the petroleum distribution industry, ethanol industry, natural products manufacturing, agriculture, petroleum refining, venture financing, land development, renewable energy, power generation, petroleum process engineering, and the fabrication of production plants.
